Att. Exp.Mdt. Emre Senar BOZKURT, LL.M. is the founding partner of Bozkurt & Partners Law Firm. He has graduated from Galatasaray High School and the Faculty of Law of Galatasaray University. He was the 16th ranked student in the nationwide examination for the entrance to the universities. He was also the 1st ranked candidate in the internal entrance examination of Galatasaray University.

 

After terminating his legal internship, he worked for the most eminent and reputable law firms in Turkey. Besides, in order to deem himself as an all-around jurist, he worked for several boutique law firms in addition to his in-house experience as a senior legal counel in prominent international holdings.

 

As a grantee of Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme organised by the European Union, he has had his postgraduate degree in Paris, in Queen Mary University of London, as the LLM in International Business Law. He took legal courses in the Arbitration Centre of ICC in Paris.

 

During his legal career, he took part in a considerable number of mergers & acquisitions, managed substantial multinational negotiations, prepared complex energy and construction contracts. He conducted diverse litigation affairs as well. He participated in international commercial arbitrations before ICC and LCIA, stemming from cross border transactions. He also provided legal consultancy service to foreign clients with regard to the WIPO procedures.

He can speak Turkish as the native language. He obtained the ultimate certificates for the languages of English and French. He is very fluent in English and can be deemed as native in French. He is a notarised sworn translator for both English and French including the cross translation thereof. He can aslo speak Italian and Latin in an intermediate level. He is beginner in Greek and Spanish.
